Where’s the Outrage?

The recent internet news story about the U.S. Treasury running a $98 Billion deficit in July 2013 yet the national debt stayed exactly at $16,699,396,000,000 (just below the latest “legal limit”), goes to show that this illegitimate, corrupt federal administration does whatever it wants, even blatantly “cooking the books” right in front of incredulous eyes. Well, at least of those of us who have eyes to see. Unequal weights and unequal measures are both alike an abomination to the LORD (Proverbs 20:10). Alas, the lamestream media has taken the term “in the tank” to an amazing level, and its a septic tank that’s full and needs to be drained.

This issue of the national debt may seem inconsequential in the absence of a free press that actually investigates and reports the news; nevertheless it is crucial to the economic survival of this nation as we have known it. Its safe to say that we would not be in as ridiculous of a deficit situation now if Romney had been elected; as a sound business man if nothing else, he would have at least begun to turn around the fiscal skyrocket to oblivion. While I do not decry the choice of my Christian brothers & sisters who did not vote for Romney on a conscience basis, there are other abominations that have encroached upon us which even McCain’s election in 2008 may have avoided, most notably that “same-sex marriage”, the ultimately moronic oxymoron, could have been denied Supreme Court support without Kagan and Sotomayor. Notwithstanding ballot fraud, ingrained class/race propaganda and rampant ignorance, those of us who voted for both McCain and Romney, besides feeling the need for extra cleansing, are left with the fact that God’s will has been, is and always will be done.

With the USA going down in financial flames amid cultural chaos, how then should we live? …a rhetorical question without an easy answer beyond the basics according to God’s will, prayerfully, as best we can determine from His word… I suppose we ought to, in the words of Jesse Jackson, “keep hope alive”, while qualifying the object of that hope of course. Now I really need cleansing having quoted him; may as well quote Obama while I’m at it: “god bless planned parenthood”… its hard to imagine that even his god could bless planned parenthood.

The dreadful state of the union is made out by so-called progressives to be success, only hampered by conservatives clinging to their religion who are “racists”, “homophobes”, “xenophobes”, etc. What’s left of the country many of us grew up in by 2017 may be presided over by Hillary Clinton; America: the land of the spree and the home of the slave. Nevertheless there is no darkness greater than the grace of Jesus. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this (Isaiah 9:7).

So let us not be embittered, but rather comforted that God is in sovereign control of all things. We submit ourselves to His timetable according to His will, even when the wicked are allowed to outwardly prevail, knowing that all things work together for our good and His glory. We pray for empowerment to stand uncompromisingly on the truth of His word in every area of life, with love for the lost and with faith in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Keep fighting the good fight, keep the faith, and finish the race (cf 2 Timothy 4:6-8).

O Lord of all the earth, be the stability of our times, our abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Let the righteous flourish among us, and let there be those who fear You in our land, while the sun endures, throughout all generations; that peace may abound, and the children yet to be created may praise the LORD. We ask it all in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

America the Beautiful
Words by Katharine Lee Bates,
Melody by Samuel Ward

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea!

O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through
wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!

O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice,
for man’s avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!
